Meteorologist Rob Dale is our handy weather man. He joined our radio team in early 2006. Rob brings you up to date weather coverage every day. With all the years of experience he has, we know he knows what he's talking about!
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, he attended Purdue University. Rob has had a lifelong interest in weather. At the age of 15 he became a licensed amateur radio operator which enabled him to participate in the National Weather Service "Skywarn" program. During times of severe weather, he travels to the strongest storms and using his radio communicates with the NWS to inform them of any signs of severe weather -- hail, strong winds, or tornados.
Rob is the father of three beautiful girls Kaitlyn, Ashlee, and Emily. He's also very active in his chuch. He teaches Sunday School, runs the sports ministry, he's the youth group advisor and home group leader. He plays and coaches softball in the summer, kickball in the fall and volleyball year-round.
His favorite cereal is Count Chocula, his favorite restaurant is Taco Bell and he loves Boston Cream Pie. He speaks at numerous severe weather conferences around the country each year, as a respected severe weather expert. We're proud to have him on our team! |
